A New Character. A New Challenge. Another Chapter in My Acting Journey.
Every role I take on gives me the opportunity to step into a different world, see life from another person’s perspective and tell a story that may connect with someone watching. That is one of the things I love most about being an actor.
I’m excited to share that I have joined the cast of The Price of Silence, the ongoing television drama series on Akwaaba Magic, where I play Junior.
Set in a world of secrets, crime, power struggles and shifting loyalties, The Price of Silence is a story about choices, consequences, and the lengths people can go to protect what matters to them. In this world, things are not always as they seem, and sometimes, silence comes at a price.
Meet Junior
Junior enters a dangerous world where power, intimidation and unpredictability are part of everyday life. He is bold, intense and not afraid to make his presence felt.
Playing Junior has been an exciting challenge for me. Every character has a way of revealing themselves, and my job is to listen to the script, to the director and to the world the character lives in, and find the truth in each moment.
For me, bringing Junior to life means exploring more than just his words. It is about understanding what drives him, how he reacts under pressure and how he relates to the people around him.
And that is one of the things I enjoy most about the creative process: you can prepare as much as possible, but there is always room to discover something new when you step onto the set and begin working with the rest of the team.
The Journey Continues
My journey as an actor has taken me through different creative spaces, from stage performances to commercial productions and screen projects. Every experience has taught me something and continues to shape the way I approach my craft.
One thing I have learned is to approach every character without judgement. I may not always agree with a character’s choices, but to portray that person truthfully, I have to understand where those choices come from.

I am truly honoured to be part of a production brought to life by Farmhouse Production Limited, under the direction of the renowned Ivan Quarshigah, alongside his prolific son, Kekeli Quarshigah.
Being on set and working with such an accomplished crew and talented cast has been a valuable experience. A production like this is the result of many people bringing their talents together, both in front of and behind the camera.
My appreciation goes to Selassie Yao, the head writer, and the entire team of writers whose work gives life to this world and its characters; Tomtom, the Casting Director; and Benji, the Costumiere.
A very special thank you goes to Kingsley Yamoah, popularly known as Don Kay, for recommending me for this role. Don Kay is a highly respected name in the Ghanaian film industry, and his recommendation truly means a lot to me. It is always meaningful when someone believes in your work and is willing to put your name forward. I am deeply grateful for that confidence and support.
I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Abdul Manaf Abdulai, my acting coach. His guidance, support and belief in my growth as an actor continue to mean a great deal to me. Behind every performance is a journey of learning, preparation and the people who challenge and encourage you along the way. I am grateful to have him as part of mine.
