Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has announced an upcoming exposé examining the operations of Nguvu Mining and the Konongo Mines, associated with Ghanaian businesswoman Angela List.

The investigation, titled “The Stakes and Mystery of Angela List’s Nguvu/Konongo Mines,” is being conducted by Tiger Eye PI in collaboration with The New Crusading Guide.

In an announcement shared on Thursday, October 29, 2026, Anas indicated that the investigative team had examined documents, court records and other materials relating to the mining operations and the dispute surrounding the concession.

The forthcoming investigation is expected to explore the interests and relationships underpinning the mining operations, the individuals connected to them, and the broader implications of the dispute for Ghana’s gold sector.

The announcement comes amid an ongoing legal dispute involving Northern Ashanti Mines, a subsidiary of Nguvu Mining, over the Konongo mining concession. The company has challenged the termination of its mining lease in court.

The controversy has attracted further attention following reports that security personnel took control of the mine’s premises on October 22, 2026.

The exposé is expected to draw significant public attention given the importance of the mining sector to Ghana’s economy and the questions surrounding the management of the country’s mineral resources.
