Aliko Dangote has responded to the jokes from Nigerians who bought shares in his refinery, with new shareholders humorously calling themselves his business partners.
Dangote said the refinery’s annual general meetings will be held in stadiums, with as many as 60,000 to 70,000 shareholders expected to attend. He said investors should be able to ask questions and hold management accountable.
He also promised that the Dangote Refinery will become “the most profitable company in Africa.”
