Tarkwa: Police Arrest 23-Year-Old with 66 Parcels of Suspected Narcotics

Personnel of the Ghana Police Service in Tarkwa have arrested a 23-year-old man, Daniel Yeboah, for allegedly trafficking narcotics. The suspect was apprehended with sixty-six parcels of suspected illegal drugs during a routine operation in the municipality.

According to police reports, the arrest is part of ongoing efforts to clamp down on drug-related activities in the Western Region. The parcels have been seized as evidence, and preliminary investigations have begun to determine the source and intended destination of the narcotics.

Authorities have assured the public of their commitment to fighting the illegal drug trade and maintaining law and order. Daniel Yeboah is currently in police custody and is expected to face prosecution once investigations are complete.
