The RNAQ Foundation, founded by Ghanaian entrepreneur Richard Nii Armah Quaye, is pleased to announce the launch of its Mobile Food Bank initiative.

After the first year of the RNAQ Food Bank, and in direct response to community feedback, the foundation is expanding access to free meals by taking services closer to homes and neighbourhoods across Ghana. The new RNAQ Mobile Food Banks will operate nationwide. No identification card is required. Beneficiaries may simply collect a hot meal and eat.

The expansion continues the foundation’s stated commitment that no one should go hungry.

Public reporting on the existing programme notes that it began in August 2025 with early centres in places such as Korle Gonno, Kasoa and Ashaiman, later growing to about 13 branches in Greater Accra, Central, Ashanti, Northern and Bono East regions, including Kumasi, Tamale, Cape Coast and Techiman.

Around the first anniversary in August 2026, the foundation said it had served more than three million meals. The initiative is linked to Quaye’s childhood in Korle Gonno, where regular meals were not always certain. The foundation’s stated mission is to restore dignity by providing one hot meal a day, free of charge.
