Ghanaian musician Kwabena Kwabena has raised concerns about the quality of Voltic Cool sachet water after noticing a change in its colour.
In a video he recorded, the musician explained that he purchased a bag of the sachet water a few weeks ago for cooking. He said he does not use tap water for cooking and relies on sachet water instead.
He took two sachets from the same bag and showed that one appeared normal while the other had changed colour and looked different.
Kwabena Kwabena has called on the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) to investigate the matter and ensure the safety and quality of sachet water sold to consumers.
The video has been circulating on social media, sparking discussion about the quality and consistency of some packaged drinking water on the market.
