A former reporter with Ghana’s Citi Newsroom has been commissioned as an officer in the United States Army.
Kwaku Aduamah Ansah, who previously worked as a journalist for the Accra-based news organisation, has successfully completed officer training and begun service with the US military.
Mr Ansah contributed reports on a range of domestic issues during his time at Citi Newsroom. His transition from journalism in Ghana to a commission in the United States Army marks a significant career change.
He has now started a new chapter of his professional life in the US military. Further details regarding the commissioning ceremony, his rank and specific posting have not been made public.
