FBI Director Kash Patel has highlighted Ghanaian authorities’ involvement in Operation Blackout, following criticism from Communications Minister Sam George over earlier posts that failed to adequately acknowledge Ghana’s role.

The operation targeted suspected cybercrime networks operating in Ghana, resulting in more than 130 people being arrested or detained, including individuals suspected of being victims of human trafficking.
