Algeria has announced that it is severing diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), saying it had exhausted “all means” of preserving bilateral ties.
The decision was announced by Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and reported by the official Algeria Press Service (APS).
According to APS, Algeria decided to sever diplomatic relations with the Emirates after exhausting all available means of maintaining relations between the two countries.
The Algerian Foreign Ministry, however, did not provide further details on the specific reasons behind the decision.
