In a tragic 24-hour span, three helicopter crashes have claimed a total of 16 lives across Ghana, Kenya, and the United States.
In Ghana, a military helicopter crash killed 8 personnel, marking one of the country’s deadliest aviation incidents in recent years. In Kenya, a medical charity aircraft went down in Nairobi’s Githurai area, killing 6 people, including crew and civilians. In the U.S., a crash involving a private chopper claimed 2 lives in a rural area.
Authorities in all three countries have launched investigations to determine the causes of the accidents.
