President Ruto Inspects Progress of Lumumba Estate Affordable Housing Project

President William Ruto recently inspected the Lumumba Estate Affordable Housing project in Kisumu Central, which was launched in August 2024. The President expressed satisfaction with the progress of the 2,384-unit project, noting that it has already provided employment for hundreds of young people.

During his visit, President Ruto was met by a large crowd, underscoring the significance of the project to the local community. The Lumumba Estate project is part of a broader initiative to address the housing deficit in Kenya and provide affordable homes for its citizens.

The project’s success highlights the government’s commitment to creating jobs and improving living standards, and serves as a model for future affordable housing developments across the country.
