Namibia Makes History as the First Country in the World with Women Leading President, Vice President, and Speaker Roles

Namibia is making history as the only country in the world where women currently hold the top three positions in government. Leading the nation is President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, supported by Vice President Lucia Witbooi, with Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila serving as the Speaker of the National Assembly.

This groundbreaking achievement not only highlights Namibia’s commitment to gender equality but also positions the country as a global example of inclusive leadership.

In addition to its progressive governance, Namibia is recognized as one of the most disciplined nations on the continent, currently ranked as the second most law-abiding country in Africa.

As the world watches, Namibia continues to break barriers and lead with both integrity and inclusivity.
