The Minority Caucus in Parliament has donated GH¢100,000 in cash to Ghana’s senior women’s national team, the Black Queens, in recognition of their outstanding performance at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The donation, made on July 29, 2025, is a show of appreciation and encouragement for the team’s efforts in restoring pride to Ghanaian women’s football. The MPs praised the Queens for their discipline, resilience, and representation on the continental stage.
