Mavis Nkrumah Arrested for Allegedly Attacking Ex-Boyfriend with Acid

In a disturbing incident in Accra, a 30-year-old woman named Mavis Nkrumah has been arrested by the Greater Accra Regional Police for allegedly pouring a substance suspected to be acid on her ex-boyfriend, Gideon Frimpong, a 29-year-old taxi driver. The incident reportedly occurred after a confrontation regarding their recent breakup.

Gideon Frimpong is currently receiving medical treatment for the injuries he sustained in the attack. Mavis Nkrumah was apprehended by the police while attempting to flee and is now in police custody.

Authorities are conducting further investigations into the matter to determine the exact circumstances that led to the assault. This incident has raised concerns about domestic disputes and the extreme measures some individuals resort to in the aftermath of relationship breakdowns.
