Liberia Accepts US Deportee Kilmar Abrego After Ghana’s Rejection

In a surprising turn of events, Liberia has agreed to accept US deportee Kilmar Abrego after Ghana refused him entry. Abrego, who was recently deported from the United States, was initially sent to Ghana but denied admission by immigration authorities.

The Liberian government later intervened, granting him permission to enter and remain in the country. The move has stirred conversation across West Africa about deportation policies, regional cooperation, and the responsibilities of nations in handling returnees.

While details surrounding Abrego’s background remain limited, the situation highlights ongoing challenges African countries face in responding to international deportation cases.
