Efiewura Star Koo-Fori Arrested for Allegedly Defrauding USA-Based Ghanaian of $50,000

Popular Ghanaian actor Koo-Fori, known for his role in the hit TV series “Efiewura,” has been arrested on allegations of defrauding a Ghanaian resident in the United States of $50,000. The victim, residing in California, claims to have sent the funds to Koo-Fori under the impression that it was a legitimate investment opportunity.

According to reports, Koo-Fori allegedly had no intention of honoring the investment agreement and instead disappeared with the money. The situation escalated when Koo-Fori allegedly defaulted on payments and failed to appear before the Dansoman District Court on April 17, 2025, leading to the issuance of a bench warrant for his arrest.

Koo-Fori was initially scheduled to appear in court today, May 9, 2025. However, due to the court not being in session, the case has been adjourned to Monday, May 12, 2025. Until then, the actor will remain in police custody as investigations continue. The unfolding legal drama has captured the attention of fans and the media alike, raising questions about the actor’s future and the implications for his career.
