Businessman Kenpong Involved in Serious Car Crash on Accra-Winneba Road

Businessman and philanthropist Kennedy Agyapong, popularly known as Kenpong, has reportedly been involved in a serious car accident.

According to a report by Max Online, the accident occurred in the early hours of Friday, August 8, 2025, around 1:30 AM on the Accra-Winneba road while Kenpong was en route to Winneba.

As of now, details regarding the cause of the crash and the presence of any casualties remain unconfirmed. The news has sparked widespread concern across social media, with many Ghanaians expressing their support and prayers for his recovery.

One commenter shared, “I wish Kenpong a speedy recovery. May God protect and heal him quickly, ensuring a full recovery from any injuries sustained.”

Kenpong is the Chief Executive Officer and President of the Kenpong Group of Companies, a major player in Ghana’s socio-economic landscape. His ventures span across telecom engineering, sports, construction, communications, and travel and tourism. His notable businesses include Kenpong Travel and Tour, Icegold Mineral Water, and the Kenpong Football Academy.

As the public awaits official updates, all thoughts remain with Kenpong and his family during this difficult time.
