A 52-year-old South African man has been arrested at OR Tambo International Airport after arriving on a flight from Accra, Ghana.
Police said a search of his luggage uncovered substances suspected to be heroin, estimated to be worth about R2 million, along with bullet-like objects.
The arrest brings the number of suspected drug mules detained at the airport to three in the past three week. The suspect is expected to appear in court later this week.
