Ghana’s Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has given Franko Herbal Centre 14 days to recall its Franko Herbal Mixture after laboratory tests detected undeclared diazepam and paracetamol in the product.
In a recall notice dated October 19, 2026, and signed by the FDA’s Chief Executive Officer, the authority urged the public, retailers and distributors to report anyone who continues to sell the mixture to the nearest FDA office.
