In a solemn visit to the Manhyia Palace, the Archbishop of Kumasi, Most Rev. Gabriel Justice Anokye, led a delegation to console Otumfuo Osei Tutu II after the passing of the Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
During the visit, the Archbishop laid hands on Otumfuo’s head and offered heartfelt prayers for strength, comfort, and divine guidance during this period of mourning.
The delegation also visited the Asantehemaa’s court, where they extended sympathies to the royal family and prayed for the peaceful repose of the late Queen Mother.
The gesture forms part of a series of national and spiritual tributes being paid to honor the Asantehemaa’s enduring legacy.
