The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced strict measures following the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
According to WAEC, subject results for 718 candidates have been canceled due to various examination malpractices. Additionally, the entire results of 177 candidates have been annulled, while 93 candidates have had their results withheld pending further investigations.
These actions underline WAEC’s commitment to upholding the integrity of its examinations and ensuring a fair system for all students.
