President Mahama Appoints Ato Forson and Kofi Buah as Acting Defence and Environment Ministers After Helicopter Tragedy

Following the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of the Defence and Environment Ministers, President John Dramani Mahama has appointed acting ministers to fill the roles temporarily.

Minister for Finance, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, will take on additional duties as Acting Minister for Defence. Similarly, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Armah Buah, Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, will serve as Acting Minister for Environment, Science and Technology.

These appointments are effective until further notice, as the nation continues to mourn the loss of key government officials in the fatal incident en route to an event in Obuasi.
