In light of the recent increase in COVID-19 cases on the University of Ghana campus, the Office of Student Affairs has announced the immediate suspension of all social gatherings. This decision, communicated by Dean of Student Affairs Prof. Rosina I. Kyerematen on June 25, 2025, is a proactive measure to protect the health and well-being of the entire university community.

The suspension affects all student body events, including Week celebrations and activities organized by GRASAG, SRC, JCR, and Departmental & School Associations. These activities will remain suspended until further notice, as the university closely monitors the evolving situation. Students are encouraged to stay informed through official channels and to prioritize their health by adhering to safety guidelines.
