Trump and First Lady Watch Fighter Jets Fly Over White House on Independence Day

On July 4th, a day that marks the United States’ Independence Day, former President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump took part in a powerful display of patriotism as they observed a military flyover from the White House.

As the national anthem echoed across Washington, a formation of America’s most advanced military aircraft — including B-2 Spirit bombers, F-22 Raptors, and F-35 Lightning IIs — soared above the capital. The aerial display served as a tribute to the nation’s founding and its military strength.

The flyover was one of several events held to commemorate America’s 248th Independence Day, a celebration of freedom and the historic signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

The former president and first lady watched the spectacle from the South Lawn, joined by members of the military, veterans, and guests. Images and video of the moment quickly circulated on social media, with many describing the scene as a stirring tribute to American pride and strength.

Independence Day continues to be a deeply meaningful occasion for millions of Americans — a time to reflect on the nation’s history, honor its military, and celebrate the enduring values of liberty and democracy.
