A 35-year-old US-based Ghanaian, Patrick Sarpong, has tragically lost his life in a fatal accident in Hopkinton, Massachusetts.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. on Monday night along the Massachusetts Pike highway. Patrick, who was returning home from work, had reportedly pulled over to clear snow from his car when he was struck by a tractor-trailer.

First responders arrived promptly at the scene, but he was sadly pronounced dead on site.

The heartbreaking incident highlights the dangers motorists can face during harsh winter conditions. Patrick’s untimely passing has left family, friends, and the Ghanaian community in deep mourning.
