On her first day in office, Sweden’s newly appointed Health Minister, Elisabeth Lann, collapsed during a news conference on Tuesday. The incident occurred mid-briefing, prompting aides to quickly escort her out of the room.
Lann returned a few minutes later and reassured the press that she was fine, explaining the collapse was due to a sudden drop in blood sugar. Despite the scare, she resumed her duties shortly after.
