Shatta Wale Loses $2 Million Deal Amid Controversy Over Seized Lamborghini

Dancehall star Shatta Wale has reportedly lost a $2 million distribution deal for his latest EP, Voice of the Crown, due to negative press and legal troubles surrounding a seized luxury vehicle.

The news was confirmed by Sammy Flex, Public Relations Officer for the Shatta Movement, in a Facebook post on August 11. He blamed “disturbing” online reports for interfering with business operations, saying the deal’s collapse is a major setback.

“Damn! Now these reports circulating online are disturbing business after this $2 million dollar distribution deal… fell out. I am getting worried Chaley!!!” — Sammy Flex wrote.

Shatta Wale responded in the comments, expressing his disappointment:

“Say no more Boss, Epain we all but God deh… Stay strong. #GODISHERE #VOTCEP will still fly no matter what man go do.”

The backlash follows a recent move by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), which seized a Lamborghini Urus in Wale’s possession. The car was allegedly linked to convicted Ghanaian-American fraudster Nana Kwabena Amuah, who purchased it with proceeds from romance and business scams in the U.S.

The situation has stirred fresh debate around celebrity affiliations and accountability, as Shatta Wale’s team works to move forward from the fallout.
