A 20-year-old woman in Sochi, Russia, has been fined 30,000 rubles (£283; $375) after posting a video of herself and two others rapping in front of a burning fuel depot. The fire, caused by falling debris from a Ukrainian drone strike targeting Sochi airport, occurred during an overnight attack confirmed by Ukraine.
The woman told the court that alcohol influenced her behavior. Two others in the video were also detained and made to apologize on camera.
This incident highlights the uneasy mix of social media, wartime reality, and state control in Russia—where even a viral video can lead to legal consequences.
