Ghana’s Minister for Communications, Sam George, has revealed that the Russian Ambassador made it clear that Russia will not extradite its citizens.
According to the Minister, the Ambassador explained that Russia’s constitution supersedes any extradition treaty, meaning Russian nationals cannot be handed over to face trial in another country.
The development presents a diplomatic and legal challenge as Ghana explores options to ensure accountability while engaging Russian authorities through the appropriate legal channels.
