Devon and Cornwall Police have seized £180,000 from Andrew Tate, money used as a deposit on a limited-edition Aston Martin Valhalla. The funds were linked to tax evasion and money laundering, the force said, with Westminster Magistrates’ Court approving the forfeiture under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The money came from a Coinbase cryptocurrency account tied to the Tate brothers’ online businesses—on which they allegedly paid no tax or VAT. Tate and his brother Tristan did not contest the court order.
This latest seizure adds to the £2.7 million confiscated from the brothers in December 2024, after they were found to have evaded taxes on £21 million in revenue. Some of that income was directly connected to ongoing human trafficking allegations in Romania.
Detective Superintendent Jon Bancroft stated the funds will be reinvested into local communities to fight crime and support victims, reinforcing the force’s commitment to targeting criminal assets “without fear or favour.”
