[Kumasi, Ghana] – Tensions are high as police and suspected National Security operatives have surrounded the residence of Bernard Antwi Boasiako, known as Chairman Wontumi, the NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman.

Reports indicate that the security forces are demanding access to the property and have been knocking on the locked gates. The reasons for the heavy security presence and the demand for access have not yet been officially disclosed.
