Panic in Doha: Ghanaian Expat Claims End Times Amidst Iranian Missile Strikes

A Ghanaian man living in Qatar has ignited a frenzy on social media after posting a video of what he claims were ballistic missiles streaking across the sky during Iran’s recent attack on U.S. military bases in Qatar. The expat, visibly shaken, declared the event as a sign of the world’s impending end, causing widespread panic among his followers.

In the now-viral video, the man, identified only as Kwame, can be heard expressing his terror as he films the alleged missiles. “This is it! This is the end of the world! I’m seeing missiles flying right over my head,” he exclaimed in a mix of Twi and broken English. The footage, though shaky and unclear, shows streaks of light moving rapidly across the night sky, which Kwame insists are Iranian missiles targeting U.S. military installations.

The video has since been shared thousands of times, drawing a mixed bag of reactions. While some viewers dismissed Kwame’s claims as an overreaction, others echoed his sentiments, citing religious prophecies and doomsday scenarios. Experts are urging calm, pointing out that while the situation is undoubtedly tense, claims of imminent global catastrophe are premature and unsupported by evidence. Meanwhile, authorities in Qatar have yet to comment on the incident, leaving the public to grapple with fear and uncertainty.
