President John Dramani Mahama celebrated his 67th birthday on Saturday with acts of kindness, choosing to spend the day visiting children receiving treatment at two healthcare facilities in Accra.
Accompanied by his wife and children, President Mahama visited the LEKMA Hospital and the Maamobi Polyclinic, where he donated gifts and cash to young patients and their families. His gesture brought joy and relief to many who did not expect a personal visit from the former leader.

Mahama also expressed appreciation to the medical staff for their dedication, presenting monetary support to encourage their continued service. At LEKMA Hospital, he facilitated the referral of a young girl to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) for further care.

Staff and families at both facilities expressed gratitude, noting that the President’s decision to spend his birthday with them was both thoughtful and inspiring.
