The National Service Authority (NSA) has rolled out a new, intensive military-style training program for National Service personnel across the country.
According to Acting Executive Director Ruth Dela Seddoh, all participating personnel will undergo rigorous physical and tactical exercises. This includes daily 5-kilometer walks and weapons handling, aimed at instilling discipline, resilience, and patriotism.
The initiative is part of efforts to reform and strengthen the National Service scheme by equipping young graduates with survival skills, leadership training, and a deeper sense of national duty.
While the move has sparked conversation among the public, the NSA insists it is committed to shaping well-rounded individuals ready to contribute meaningfully to national development.
