Newborn Baby Rescued Alive from Public Toilet in Obuasi

In a heartbreaking yet heroic turn of events, firefighters from the Obuasi Fire Station, led by Station Officer II Appiah Kubi, rescued a day-old baby boy who had been abandoned in a public toilet at Ahansonyewodea on the night of Sunday, July 20.

Responding swiftly to a distress call, the team reached the scene and successfully retrieved the newborn alive at exactly 11:31 PM, despite the difficult conditions. The baby was immediately rushed to AGA Hospital, where he is now receiving medical care.
