The Returning Officer of the Akwatia Constituency has officially declared Hon. Lawyer Bediako of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the Member of Parliament-elect following a successful election.
Lawyer Bediako secured 18,199 votes out of 33,516 total valid votes cast, emerging victorious in a closely watched contest.
This win marks a significant gain for the NDC in the Eastern Region and is expected to boost the party’s presence in Parliament.
