Western Region, Ghana – A tragic road accident involving two heavily loaded trucks and a commercial sprinter bus has resulted in multiple fatalities along the Takoradi to Tarkwa highway on the morning of Monday, August 25, 2025.
The collision occurred during the early hours, causing severe damage to all vehicles involved. Eyewitnesses described a horrifying scene as emergency teams rushed in to rescue injured passengers and recover bodies.
Authorities have not confirmed the exact number of deaths, but initial reports suggest a significant loss of life. Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the accident.
