KNUST Introduces ID Cards for Campus Cats

In a creative move, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has given official ID cards to two of its popular campus cats, Kwasi Joe and Kofi Sam. The new “Campus Cat Identity Initiative” recognizes the cats as part of the university community.

The project aims to improve animal care on campus by ensuring regular health checks, creating feeding points, and promoting kindness toward animals. KNUST says this is part of its effort to build a friendly and environmentally conscious campus where humans and animals live in harmony.
