Kenya has embarked on the construction of the Talanta Sports Stadium, a state-of-the-art facility in Nairobi with a seating capacity of 60,000. The ambitious project, valued at $344.5 million, aims to boost the country’s sports infrastructure ahead of hosting major continental and international events.
The Talanta Stadium is expected to meet FIFA and CAF standards, positioning Kenya as a competitive player in global sports tourism and event hosting. Once completed, it will be one of the largest and most modern stadiums in East Africa, reflecting the government’s commitment to nurturing talent and promoting sports development nationwide.
