Sonam Raghuvanshi, 25, is now in police custody after surrendering in Uttar Pradesh, following the brutal murder of her husband, 30-year-old Raja Raghuvanshi, during their honeymoon.

The couple, who married on May 11 in a ceremony blessed by both families, embarked on their honeymoon to Meghalaya on May 20. Just four days later, they vanished, sparking a massive search operation. Tragically, a week later, Raja’s decomposed body was discovered in a gorge, his throat slit, and valuables missing.

Initially, Sonam was presumed to be a victim, either killed or abducted. However, police now allege that Sonam orchestrated her husband’s murder, hiring killers to carry out the gruesome act. Four men have been arrested in connection with the case.
