A green Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus crashed into the fence wall of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s private residence in Nima on the night of Wednesday, July 17, 2025.
The incident occurred just outside the heavily guarded home of the former president. It is currently unclear what caused the crash, but the impact left visible damage to a portion of the fence wall. No injuries have been confirmed as of the time of reporting.
Security personnel stationed at the residence quickly moved in to assess the situation and secure the area. The driver of the vehicle has reportedly been taken in by the police for questioning.
