Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu has announced a major boost to Ghana’s education sector, revealing that the government will invest GHC1 billion into school infrastructure in 2026 through the GETFund.
The funding aims to address critical infrastructure gaps and support the phasing out of the double-track system in senior high schools. According to the Minister, this move reflects the government’s commitment to improving access to quality education and creating a more sustainable learning environment across the country.
