Former US Vice President Kamala Harris Signals Possible Return to Presidential Race in 2028

Former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has hinted at a potential bid for the White House in 2028 during her first UK interview with the BBC. Speaking on Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, Harris said she could “possibly” become president one day and expressed confidence that a woman will eventually hold the nation’s top office.

Reflecting on her loss to Donald Trump last year, Harris dismissed polls that label her an outsider and reaffirmed her commitment to a future in politics. She also criticized Trump, calling him a “tyrant,” and highlighted that warnings she issued during the campaign were proven accurate.

While she has not made a final decision, Harris emphasized her lifelong dedication to public service, stating, “I am not done… it’s in my bones.” She remains undeterred by polls and continues to keep the possibility of another presidential run open.
