The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has strongly denounced former U.S. President Donald Trump for spreading what they describe as deliberate and inflammatory lies about South Africa. Trump falsely claimed that a temporary field of white crosses in KwaZulu-Natal was a mass burial site for over 1,000 murdered white farmers.

The EFF asserts that this claim is a blatant falsehood. The owner of the land where the crosses were placed has publicly confirmed that the site contains no burials. The field was a symbolic installation intended to raise awareness about farm murders in general, and the number of crosses did not represent actual deaths.
According to the EFF, Trump has willfully ignored the truth, choosing instead to distort facts and perpetuate the myth of “white genocide” in South Africa. They believe that Trump’s calculated lie is part of a broader, sinister agenda: to reinforce global white supremacy by portraying white people as victims and African people as violent savages. The EFF views Trump’s actions as dangerous and irresponsible, contributing to racial tensions and misinformation.
