Burkina Faso Begins Construction of 15,000-Capacity Bobo-Dioulasso Stadium

Burkina Faso has commenced the construction of a new 15,000-capacity stadium in Bobo-Dioulasso, the country’s second-largest city. The project is expected to be completed next year.

The stadium is part of the government’s efforts to boost sports infrastructure and promote local development. Notably, 80% of the workforce involved in the project are Burkinabe citizens, reflecting a strong commitment to local job creation and skills development.

Once completed, the stadium is expected to host national and international sporting events, as well as serve as a hub for youth engagement and community activities.
