Controversial influencer Andrew Tate has found himself in hot water once again, this time for a high-speed driving offense in Romania. According to local officials, the British-American national was caught driving at a staggering 196 km/h (121 mph) in a 50 km/h zone, nearly four times the posted speed limit.
The incident occurred in the village of Bujoreni, approximately 184 km from Bucharest. Tate, 38, was slapped with a £310 ($420) fine and had his driving license suspended for 120 days, a standard penalty given the severity of the infraction.
This latest run-in with the law comes as Tate and his brother, Tristan, are already embroiled in serious legal troubles. The pair face charges of rape and human trafficking in Romania, in addition to separate allegations in the UK and US. Despite these charges, the brothers are permitted to travel within Romania, where they reside, under court-ordered conditions while their cases remain pending. Tate’s recent speeding violation only adds to the mounting legal pressure he faces.
