The strike has brought rail services to a standstill, affecting daily commutes and causing frustration among passengers who rely on the trains for transportation. Many commuters were left stranded, seeking alternative means to reach their destinations, leading to increased congestion on roads and at bus terminals.

The railway workers are calling on the government and relevant authorities to address their grievances urgently and ensure the prompt payment of their outstanding salaries. Until their demands are met, they have vowed to continue the strike, raising concerns about the potential long-term impact on Accra’s transportation network and economy.
