A calm but pointed exchange occurred when former Deputy Finance Minister Abena Osei-Asare cut in to stop Ningo-Prampram MP Sam George during a discussion on Ghana Post’s high expenditure.
Sam George had begun criticizing what he described as the Akufo-Addo government’s financial mismanagement, mentioning Ken Ofori-Atta, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Abena Osei-Asare by name.
“Respectfully, Minister, stop it right there. Just go straight to the question and answer, and stop the name-calling,” Abena Osei-Asare said, urging the MP to stay focused on the issue.
The exchange remained calm and respectful, with both sides maintaining composure throughout the discussion.
