Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has raised concerns about the treatment of Black Sherif by his record label, stating that the young star is “not being treated fairly.”
Speaking during a Twitter Space with Jocelyn Dumas titled “The Business Behind the Talent,” Shatta Wale also criticized some Ghanaian artists for trying to mirror Western acts, questioning why many still struggle to make money from music despite the talent in the industry.
His comments have since sparked conversations about artist management, originality, and fairness within Ghana’s music business.
