15 Inmates Complete WASSCE from Kumasi and Nsawam Prisons

Fifteen inmates from the Reformers School at the Kumasi Central and Nsawam Medium Security Prisons have successfully completed the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

The candidates studied General Arts, with elective subjects including Economics, Geography, Government, and ICT. Their achievement highlights the growing impact of educational rehabilitation programs within Ghana’s prison system, offering inmates a second chance at building productive futures through formal education.

Authorities commend the inmates’ dedication and the support of prison staff and educational partners for making this milestone possible.
